Engine Block

When it comes to choosing the right block the easiest is the S13 SR20det block for turbo charged applications and the S13 SR20de for N/A applications.

The S14/S15 blocks can be used, but require additional modifications, these include: Blocking the VCT oil feed and drill & taping an oil pump bolt bole.

The block will also need to have the rear oil drain hole filled. We have a simple block for this and can be found here.

This can also be done by either tapping a thread into the block and using a plug or having the hole welded over and machined flat.
